AM2634: Ram initialization/configuration for the Lauterbach debugger

Hello

I want to use the Lauterbach debugger on my evaluation board AM263x_CC with the extension board.

When I load the .out file with Lauterbach debugger, the code is loading on ram but we got always a data abort handler execution. When we load the code with XDS110 Debugger and let it run with Lauterbach debugger then it works. So we think there is some thing missing with ram initialization with the Lauterbach debugger. Therefore we need the ram configuration for the Lauterbach debugger?

Could you provide us this configuration for the ram initialization? and how I can get a cdds account

When you mention the "extension board", are you referring to the HSECDOCK?If so, how are you connecting the Lauterbach to the HSECDOCK?

Hi Frank

Yes, I'm using the extension board HSECDOCK. I have a separate connector (CON-ARM20/MIPI34) for the debugger to connect to HSECDOCK.

I don't have any initialization scripts for the board. But for the initialization scripts we need the ram initialization, which makes all the common,pll etc. settings.

I don't see the AM263x files published on the Lauterbach website. The files are available inside TI. You can reach out to the Lauterbach/Trace32 team or I can share files using external TI Drive. In case you want me to email the files, can you please confirm your email address on private e2e chat?

Hi,

I shared the files with you. Please let me know if you're able to access them.

You should be able to use the CMM files to initialize the SOC. Launch an ARM gui and run _am263_allcoretype_connect.cmm (or a subset) the chip will be setup and you can load and run code.
