Hello TI Engineers.

I'm wondering how to prepare before writing to Virgin state TM4C129ENCZAD.

Please tell me the setup procedure.
(The power supply and crystal are connected, and I would like to hear about the procedure before writing the application.)

Hi,

In this post https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/arm-based-microcontrollers-group/arm-based-microcontrollers/f/arm-based-microcontrollers-forum/1196044/sw-tm4c-change-the-program-to-change-the-oscillation-frequency-of-the-crystal, I showed you where to find all the ready-to-use examples for TM4C129. These examples are written for EK-TM4C1294XL LaunchPad board. If you have not had one, please purchase one of these boards. Once you have the board, you can load any one of these examples using CCS or LM flash programmer. After the example is loaded, you just simply run. After you are familiar with TM4C129 MCU and the LaunchPad, you can easily modify the code to run on your custom board. On the hardware side, you can look at EK-TM4C1294XL LaunchPad user's guide where it has the entire schematic of the board.

If you run some of these examples on your custom board without modification, they may not work. There are things like pinmuxing which is different between TM4C1294NCPDT and TM4C129ENCZAD. You will need to modify the pinmuxing for your selected MCU (TM4C129ENCZAD).

I have TM4C129ENCZAD onboard for communication between other IC (AWR1843) and PC.

I think you need a program to convert USB to UART for that.
Which program are you referring to?

Another question is how to change the pinmux, how do you change this?

Hello, Regarding how to change PinMux, is it okay to use 'PinMux Tool v4' provided by TI to edit the pins of the peripheral device to be used?

Yes, you can pinmux tool to configure.

Please you need to open a new thread for any topic related to AWR1843 so the experts there can support your questions. Please check with AWR1843 forum team so they can recommend tools to send data between PC and AWR1843. Please make sure when you open a new thread, you specify AWR1843 as the part number. Please do not use TM4C129ENCZAD as the part number because they will be routed to us and we have no knowledge to answer any questions about AWR1843

I want to make the function to convert USB to UART or UART to USB.

I ask the question about how to make code which have the function in this thread.

I ask the question about how to connect AWR1843 and PC in AWR1843's thread.

Now for the question.
What is the source code required to make the TM4C129ENCZAD have the function of converting from UART to USB?

I think of it as UART in usblib and driverlib.
