Part Number: TM4C1294NCPDT
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK110

Hi

I tried EPHY10BTSC BIT7(NLPDIS) write 1.

But the bit can not setted 1 in not Linked status.

However, After, In Linked status, The BIT automatically seted 1.

Is this bit Really RW (Can Read and Write) registor?

I think this bit is NLP(Normal Link Pulse) Status Registor.

So this bit seem RO Registor.

thanks,

GR

  • Hi GR-san,

I think it is a RW. The integrated PHY in TM4C129 MCU is the same as the standalone PHY TLK110. Please see attached datasheet. https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/tlk110 for additional information about link pulse generation at the wire level. I myself is not so familiar with the internal working at the PHY level.

  • Hi Tsai-san,

    Thank you for your information.

I would appreciate any information you have,

Is there any  terms and conditions to set the Bit (EPHY10BTSC BIT7)  1?

I can not write the bit 1 , in  Auto-Negotiation is disenable, 10Mbps Half-Duplex setting. (Not Linked condition)

My expectation of terms that the Bit (EPHY10BTSC BIT7) can write 1 is the bit can use Only FLP(in Auto-Negotiation) enable  condition.

    thanks,

    GR

  • Hi Tsai-san

    Thank you to your support.

I am sorry about on this topic.

The issue of that i can not write was solved.

the probrem was my Register value output code miss.

    thanks,

    GR
