SAM06B306 - Need Flash Programming Manual

Hello,

My name is Sai Tadimeti and I work as a Device Support Engineer at BPM Microsystems. We provide thrid party flash programming support to our customers. We are helping one of our customers in getting support for SAM06B306 devices. We understand through the preliminary datasheet that there is a ARM7TDI core. However, we would like to have a hardware reference manual or flash programming specifications so that we can design a suitable solution. Kindly advise. Thank you.

  • Hello Sai,

I am not finding any reference to the SAM06B306 device.  The only ARM7TDI core device I find is the SM470R1B1.

You mentioned a preliminary datasheet, what is the date on it?

I'll continue to investigate, and any additional information you can provide would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    ~Leonard

  • Hi Leonard,

Thank you for your response. The datasheet I have is from our end customer. I believe the TI part number is SAM06R-TB.  The datasheet's release is December 12 2007.

  • Hello Sai,

This is a custom device, protected under NDA.  As such, any information will have to be provided by the customer, TI cannot/will not, violate the NDA.

Also, I don't understand why programming this device after 16 years of usage would be an unknown.

    Regards,

    ~Leonard

  • Hi Leonard,

I am assuming [deleted] or one of the contractors who program their devices is exploring our programmer as an alternative. We received a few documents from  [deleted] on an NDA with regards to this device. Thank you for your support.

    Regards,

    Sai

  • Thanks for the info, Sai.  Since it is a custom part and under NDA, it cannot be discussed here on a public forum.  As you can see, I have deleted references to the customer.  Please continue working with them to get the programming info you require.

    Regards,

    ~Leonard
