Customer uses S5LS20206ASPGEQQ1R, which is NRND.

He got recommendation to use TMS5703137DPGEQQ1 instead.

So pls help us:

Is this pin-pin and SW (binariy) compatible ?
Any migrations steps for HW and SW to ,mention ?
NRND does not mean obsolence; Any plan to discontinue their MCU in next years?

They are not pin to pin and SW compatible.

It would be better to redesign, if customer want to migrate to the TMS570LS3137 as they are not compatible.

Definitely the devices will discontinue in couple of years. I am not aware of exact timeline, if you want i can check with my internal team once.

I think redesign is not an option at the moment for customer.

Yes, it would be great to give custoner an aprox. funeral date!

Customer name, mail id and how many unit's costumer using.

I will forward those details to marketing team and will check how long we are going to provide the support for S5LS20206ASPGEQQ1R and how long we will produce S5LS20206ASPGEQQ1R devices.
