TMDSEMU110-U: Can't download bin in IAR EWARM

Hello,

My environment is like below:

IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM functional safety, 7.40.6.1.12239

TMDSEMU110-U(XDS110) Rev.A, firmware version 2.3.0.9

I'm currently using EWARM to build and download program to RM48L952 device. When I select debug and download a window shows that XDS110 requires firmware update.

It won't allow me to download without firmware update. And if I choose yes then it tries and fails update.

After this, the debug probe is bricked and windows/xdsdfu can't recognize it. I have to open the case and flash the bootloader, then download the firmware.

How can I solve it?
