AM2634-Q1: debug HSM code

Dear Champs,

My customer is trying to debug HSM code of hsm_debug_auth_am263x_r5fss0-0_nortos_ti-arm-clang example as below.

hsm_debug_auth_am263x_r5fss0-0_nortos_ti-arm-clang example can be built and debugged but it can't get any response from Hsm (most likely no HsmFirmware is loaded.)

What is actually happening with them is that

 

  1. We are following the Debug Auth Example,
  2. We are able to run prebuild QSPI SBL with the example Debug Auth on R5 Core.
  3. We are able to send the UID Request command to HSM Server
  4. But there is no response and the code stucks

 Can you please share the exact sequence to get started on HSM Core?

    I got logs from my customer as below.

    As mentioned in email, there is no response to UID request and code remains stuck there.

     

    Log is same as yours until that point and code runs from QSPI. Also there is no first line [HSM_CLIENT] New Client Registered with Client Id = 0.

    There is something majorly wrong here. I think the device customer has is not HS-SE at all. Let me share a document over email with you for the same.
