MSPM0G1506: Would like to know the load current of OPA

Hi team,

When we look at the latest datasheet of MSPM0G150x, the load current of OPA on the latest datasheet is much higher than the load current of OPA on the previous datasheet.(descripted in 7.18.1 on the datasheet.)

Is the load current of MSPM0G150x correct?

Hi Shunsuke,

Yes, the updated datasheet has the correct specification.

The amount of load current that the Op Amp can supply is of course variable across output voltage. This spec should be interpreted the same as Short Circuit Current would be in a discrete OPA.

By the way, what do you mean by "This spec should be interpreted the same as short circuit current would be in a discrete OPA"?

Hi Shunsuke-San,

This means that with the output current shorted to ground, the maximum current you can source is 30mA. If the output voltage needs to be higher, then the maximum output current will be lower.
