AM2634: MCAL_AM263x_00.09.00.07 : build examples

Hi TI Experts,

I have installed CCS12.10.

I am trying to build the MCAL examples as per "MCAL_AM263x_00.09.00_07\mcal_docs\AM263x_MCAL_UserGuide.pdf" I am facing below error while trying to build the already available examples.

gmake: Interrupt/Exception caught (code = 0xc0000005, addr = 0x6E69622F)

please let me know if i am missing something.

Hi Bikash,

This is basically saying the gmake is not able to find the Shell path. Please add the following line at the top of "Makefile" present in the build folder. This will be fixed soon in upcoming MCAL releases.

SHELL=C:/Windows/System32/cmd.exe

The error is resolved with the above addition.

but now while trying to build the different MCAL apps, i am getting below error. can you please help me with the things i need to do in order to compile the example apps ?

Hi Bikash,

This is essentialy saying, the makefile of MCAL is not able to recognize any module named mcu_app to start a compilation. Can you please send me your mcal_component.mk file that's present in the mcal/ folder please?

Hi Kowshik,

I haven't modified the component.mk file.

but now i figured out i have modified the relative path in the rules.mk which was causing the problem, now it works fine.
