MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X: SDL component on AM243 SDK

Hi,

I wanted to point out that in the in the AM64 SDK, the SDL document is available, link. However, the AM243 SDK does not have this component. Are there plans to add this documentation to this SDK? If not, can the AM64 SDL Doc be used as reference to develop on the AM243?

    Hello Daviel,

    We will check with the MCU+SDK development team on plans/timeline for adding SDL documentation/APIs.

    In the meantime, I quickly reviewed the current AM64x SDL Docs and see no problems/discrepancies that would affect its usage if replicated on AM243x. Details and implementation are applicable to both devices.

    Hi Daviel,

    Currently the SDL for AM243x is under development and is planned to be released by 8.6.0, however you can definitely refer the AM64x to develop for 243x. But the only catch here is, On AM243x, SDL is supported only on R5F core. On AM64X, it's supported on R5F and M4F cores, Whatever is available on AM64x R5F cores, you can refer it.

    Thank you! also do you know if there are plans for the SDL to be supported on the M4F core on the in a future SDK?

    Hi daviel,

    As far as I checked the roadmap. I don't see support coming up for M4 SDL soon on am243x. Let me know if there's any customer and usecase that's driving this requirement. I will check with SDK team.
