AM2631: Tamper Detection feature support

Hi TI

Can you please clarify if AM26x/24x able to support Tamper Detection feature ?

If the internal module is not availbale from AM2x, Could you please recommend the external tamper detection solution to cooperate with AM2x MCU?

Customer need the Mesh Tamper Detect support with internal or external IC along with AM2x. At least the external tamper sensor would need to support 4-channel dynamic method.

    Hello Jack, 

                    AM243x and AM26x has no tamper module to provide tamper detection and associated response. AM243x/AM263x has no specific requirements on external tamper device hence you can pick the external device that meets your systems use case of external tamper.

    Hello Jack, 

                       We have no specific recommendation on external device as there is no dependency on AM263x, you are welcome to pick external device that meets your end system requirements for external tamper and can interface with AM263x over UART/SPI ports.
