Hi champs,

I am asking for my customer here!

AM2434 only have 2 UDMA as below figure, but customer need more DMA channels. Like they need UART, SPI and ADC to realize DMA data handling at the same time. Do you have any suggestion here?

These are UDMA instances, not channels. The two instances which can be added are BCDMA_0 and PKTDMA_0.

They would add the PKTDMA_0 instance in Sysconfig. Multiple peripherals can be simultaneously serviced from this instance. The event map / channel allocation is shown in the TRM, Section 11.3.2 PDMA Sources.

Hi Frank,

Customer use UDMA PKTDMA_0, 2 SPI using UDMA, 1 UART using UDMA, and then the ADC use UDMA, so the UDMA initialization will fail with an error # UDMA_EALLOC. Can you help to confirm that 3 UDMAs can be initialized and used at the same time?
