Do you mean to connect DMA peripheral to PHY, if yes then its is not possible to do such a connection. Can you please share what is your use case?

That is expected, as among the three ports present on control card, one port is connected to CPSW Hardware, one is connected to ICSS and one port is shared by CPSW and ICSS using a MUX, so at once you can access that port with either CPSW or ICSS.

Can you please explain about your use case, then we will be able to suggest better here.

We have a device that is currently at one end of a single pair ethernet communication line. We would like to keep this communication line open and add an option to connect to the device with standard ethernet.

The third page of the demo bord design files found at https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSCNCD263#design-files show the three ethernet ports each connecting to a PHY:

Can all three of the PHYs on the demo board be used for ethernet communication simultaneously?

Hi Kyle,

You can use all the three ethernet port of this device but since they are connected to two different peripherals, You will have to run two applications on two R5F cores. Or you can use two of them at once.Also AM263x ICSS does not support standard ethernet. It is used only for Ethercat and other industrial protocol.

how could we communicate information between the two applications in order to test our scenario before making a prototype board?

Do you also have any sample application recommendations to start from?

This can be dione using IPC example.

But for ICSS based example on am263x, we do not have at the moment. Let me discuss internally about roadmap and get back here.
