Hello
We have integrated the MCAL-CAN Driver into our project. We have recognized that, the Bus Off Processing Interrupt is enabled; but when we generate a Bus off state on the can bus; there is no generated interrupt. Although the Bus off interrupt is registered in our project, the controller does not see any bus off state on the bus.
An error state for the Can register is also not written:
So our question is: is there a bug on the driver or is there problem with the chip?
Could you verify that the Bus off state will be detected by the chip? Could you you also verify that the bus off interrupt is working?
Thanks in advance
Best regards
Hi ,
I see you're using the old version of MCAL, we have a new version of MCAL 09.00.07 released, can you please check with that package and see if you're observing the same issue?
but when we generate a Bus off state on the can bus
How did you trigger a Bus off state? Is my by pulling the CANH line to ground?
Thanks

Hi Panda Bear,
I have filed a bug regarding this issue [MCAL-10767] Can Bus off Interrupt not triggerring - Texas Instruments JIRA (ti.com). Will ensure this is working in the upcoming releases.
Thanks
