Hi,

I am working on eMMC (MMC0) and by default eMMC is configured with HS_SDR and DS supporting modes in sysconfig.

But my goal is to set eMMC with different supporting modes like Low Speed, High Speed SDR, High Speed DDR and HS200 and check the Clock frequency during Write and Read operation on eMMC.

In SysConfig when Input Clock Frequency of eMMC is set to 100MHz, I am reading as 50MHz.

How we can set different supporting modes for eMMC (MMC0) through CCS ???

I am using MMCSD- raw-io example project from mcu_plus_sdk_am243x_08_05_00_24 SDK.

Please suggest how can I proceed with this issue and can use other supporting modes.

In SYSCONFIG, ti_drivers_config.c file by default supporting modes set, So how to use or configure DDR and HS200 modes ?

Hi Pooja Vernekar,

These are the following modes are not covered in the SDK driver.

Can you tell me the exact mode that is required ?

I want eMMC (MMC0) to work at these below mentioned supporting modes.

By default in example project SYSCONFIG I can see only 2 modes been added.

So how can i configure eMMC to work for DDR and HS200 modes ?

Supported MMC modes:

MMCSD_SUPPORT_MMC_DS (0x01U) /* DS (Up to 26Mhz) */
MMCSD_SUPPORT_MMC_HS_SDR (0x02U) /* HS (Up to 52Mhz) */
MMCSD_SUPPORT_MMC_HS_DDR (0x04U) /* HS (Up to 52Mhz) */
MMCSD_SUPPORT_MMC_HS200 (0x08U) /* HS200 (Up to 200Mhz) */

Hi Pooja Vernekar,

The requirements for DDR and HS200 is not supported by SDK although they are supported by the IP. It is planned to be supported in the future releases. I apologize as the document is not clear enough to mention the limitations of the driver or the sysconfig features. We will fix this in the documentation for the next release itself.
