Hi Ti Expert,

I created a custom PCB of Am243x (ALX ) Sitara MCU. And I want to verify the schematic by Ti Expert.
But I don't know, How to verify it?

Can you guide me?

And from Am243x EVM and AM243x-LP :- 2 componts are absoulte.

OSPI :-S28HS512TGABHM010
DDR4 :-MT40A1G16KD-062E:E

Above both components were absolute. Which components are for AlterNet?

1) We do offer a free schematic review service available only to customers supported by a Texas Instruments employee. Can you reach out to your TI representative and ask them to submit the schematic review request form? They can reach out to me for help. First review the schematic review checklist, errata, and fill out SysConfig tool for their design.

General questions about circuits can be answered on this E2E. Is there a specific issue or area of concern?

2) AM243x_ALX package option does not support OSPI or DDR4/LPDDR4 due to pin restrictions. However, QSPI flash memory devices are supported. The general requirements for these devices are detailed in the TRM OSPI chapter.

The AM243x_ALV package supports both DDR4/LPDDR4 and full OSPI. As mentioned before, the OSPI IC requirements are defined in the associated TRM chapter. As for DDR, the controller should be compatible with any JEDEC compliant DDR4/LPDDR4 memory IC's. The Processor DDR Configuration Tool (linked below) can then be used to define memory parameters and generate a customized configuration file.

Hello Dashan,

General IC requirements for OSPI/QSPI devices can be found in the related TRM chapter. The DDR4/LPDDR4 Controller is compatible with any JESD79-4B compliant DDR4/LPDDR4 memory IC's.
