RM57L843: Does RM57Lx ESM module detect Flash ECC uncorrectable/correctable fault

Hi,

We don't find RM57Lx ESM module can detect Flash ECC uncorrectable/correctable fault in SDL code, but find it in RM48 SDL code. Can you help check it please?

    Hi Jagadish,

    As same as Flash ECC, We just find ESM channels of SRAM Redundant Address Decode for other devices, not for RM57x.

    But this test type is supported by RM57x. Please help check it.

    Hi Shenruming,

    RM57Lx and TMS570LC architectures are way different than other hercules devices, and their flash technology also different from other hercules devices so all the ESM errors will not be same for RM57Lx and TMS570LC like other hercules devices.

    Coming to this scenario

    The Group2 channel 4 is reserved in RM57Lx

    And it is not FMC uncorrectable error as other hercules devices

    Actually, the ESM_G1ERR_FMC_CORR error in other hercules devices is equal to the EPC- correctable error (ESM_G1ERR_EPC_SERR)

    And similarly, ESM_G2ERR_FMC_UNCORR in other hercules devices is equal to the EPC - Uncorrectable Error ()
