AM2434: Does AM2434 chip has an embedded temperature monitor?

Hi, there.

Our team are porting our codes from c2000 family to ARM-based chip. It is known that c2000 chips like F28377D, F28386D does have an embedded temperature sensor. But, in AM243x family data sheet, I can't see any keywords like "internal temperature sensor", "junction temperature sensor".

Would you please show me if it exist or not? Furthermore, how to set up that function?

Hello Henry,

Yes it does, this isn't listed explicitly in the device datasheet at the moment (I will see that this gets addressed...) but the TRM has a section for the Voltage and Thermal Manager (VTM) (Section 5.2.2.1.4 starting on Page 2458) which provides these details.
