Hello,

in this previous blog post, QJ Wang made the following state about the SAFETI-HALCOGEN-CSP

If you use the same version compiler and same version HalCoGen, you can use the reports that come with HalCoGen CSP.

Does that mean there is a way to avoid having to repeat the unit-testing of the HalCoGen generated code and instead just re-use the existing test result reports, coverage reports etc.? Or is it necessary to acquire the LDRAUnit license and re-generate the unit-tests for the project-specific HalCoGen configuration?

Also other posts such as this one state that the CSP packages are free of charge? Why does the request page mention the 12'000$/25'000$ price tags then?

    Yes, this is my understanding. The test result reports were generated using LDRA 9.4.3, HalCoGen 4.07.01 and TI ARM compiler 5.0.4. Please double check with your functional safety assessor.

    The CSP includes the test cases and e HalCOGen Test Automation Unit (TAU). LDRA unit is not provided as a part of the CSP download, you need to purchase the LDRA license from LDRA.

    Yes, the CSP package is free of charge. We had an option to download CSP + LDRA 9.4.3 before, but this option was cancelled several years ago.

    How to Get LDRA Unit and Setting up the License After Downloading HALCoGen CSP From TI?

    After downloading HALCoGen-CSP, the customer can contact LDRA and acquire the LDRAunit-TI-Qual 9.4.3 (or higher).

    The customer can request for the LDRAUnit and full license from LDRA by using the following steps:

    1. After downloading HALCoGen-CSP LDRA-Less package, the customer can contact LDRA and acquire the LDRAunit-TI-Qual 9.4.3 (or higher).

    2. The customer can request for the LDRAUnit and full license from LDRA by sharing the following info with LDRA: 1. Product Name: LDRAunit-SafeTI-CSP (C/C++, Windows) 2. Exact part number: LPSN7W56SafeTI

    3. Instructions to procure LDRA:

    • Contact LDRA at sales@ldra.com to request a quotation by sharing 'Product Name' and 'Exact Part Number' given above.
    • LDRA will issue a quotation and upon receipt of purchase order will send the customer a download link for the software and provide a license key.
    • LDRA will set-up the web store page and provide a link to this so that customers can simply order and pay online
