TMDSCNCD263: TMDSCNCD263 - Clarification required for EB tresos configuration to ADC.

Hi Team,

I am trying to map pins from the TMDSCNCD263. I am trying to map the Port pins to ADC in EB tresos tools, there is no displayed connection for ADC specific.

My understating Adc Groups are Configured with ADC Channels in built. So, there is no port pins required in EB tresos to configuration.

Could you please confirm the same. please show some light on this. thanks.

Hey Vivek,

I am not familiar with the EB tresos tool. However, there are 5x 12-bit ADC's in the device, each ADC supports 6 analog input channels and each of these channels has a dedicated pin.

A good reference is the AM263x SysConfig-PinMux Tool.

Hi Fleenor,

I have referred the AM263x SysConfig-PinMux Tool. we can understand There is no port involvement in ADC configuration. IIt its internal configuration.

I want to know more about in the EB tresos interaction with ADC configuration.

Hi Vivek,

Yes you're right, we don't need to configure any port or pinmux configs for the ADC pins when using MCAL's. I just clarified it from the ADC author.
