TMS570LC4357: TMS570LC4357 HalCoGen generated files missing HL_rtp.c and HL_dmm.c and new changes in HalCoGen cannot work for DMM and RTP Modules

It appears RTP and DMM are not currently configurable from HalCoGen outside of GPIO configurations. 

We have downloaded the examples HL_rtp.c and HL_dmm.c drivers following the TI forum instructions. But issues are that everytime we make changes in HalCogen to configure the DMM and RTP pins as general GPIO, it seems the HalcoGen will update the header files only. The HL_rtp.c and HL_dmm.c driver files DO NOT change at all.

Is there any solution to solve the issue? Or TI going to release a new version of HalCoGen to solve the issues?

    Hi Alex,

    The modules in grey are not fully supported by the HALCOGen. HALCoGen generates headers only for those modules.

    And you can see RTP and DMM modules comes into the same category, so it is not possible to generate drivers for these peripherals from HALCoGen.

    As of now the only solution is to manually create and update the drivers for these modules.

    And there is no planning for HALCoGen new version yet.
