AM2432: Can CLKOUT0 be used for 25MHz PHY clock

Hello Champs,

Customer wants to use AM2432 MII interface as slave EtherCAT. Can the CLKOUT0 be used for 25MHz PHY clock?

    Hi Shine, 

    Yes, the CLKOUT0 can be used for 25MHz PHY clock. 

    The CLOCKOUT0 pin has a dedicated CTRLMMR_CLKOUT_CTRL register as described in the device TRM (AM243x TRM (Rev. E). Including screenshot below for reference.

    To enable 25 MHz signal, Bit0 (CLK_SEL) should be set to 1, and Bit4 (CLK_EN) should be set to 1.
