AM2634-Q1: CCS J-LINK support for AM263x

Yes, the AM263x DEBUGSS is compatible with the Segger J-Link debugger but has not yet been deployed as a supported solution. The XDS560 is also a high-performance debugger that could be used. See https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/xdsdebugprobes/emu_xds560v2.html for more details.

Can you confirm what version of CCS you are using here? Please verify that you have the latest version of CCS and Sitara MCU Device Support Package (version 1.2.3).

   I still use CCS12.2. What is the emulation package inside CCS12.3 which can support JLINK?

    I upgrade to 12.3 but the situation is the same. I can not use JLINK with AM263x.

real-time memory access for R5 memory was disabled due to a variety of reasons which I will spare the details. There is a potential workaround but it is a bit messy. If this is a big issue, we can have the customer give it a try.

   Currently, we are trying to convince a very important customer move to our current solution. Real-Time memory access is one of their concern. They SW team think our tools in not so handy as their current one. So this feature is quite important to us.

1. does this workaround can be used with xds200 and xds560?

2. Since the newer or high end J-Link support R5F/R52 cores already, do we have plan to add AM263x/AM243 to support J-Link debugger?
