MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X: SBL status info available for applications

I work on AM2432 with mcu_plus_sdk_am243x_08_06_00_43

I am wondering if SBL OSPI can share information status with loaded applications.

I see that Bootloader_ProfileObject contains some useful data and I would like my application to read such information just after boot.

How about having a linker session shared between SBL and APPs ? Maybe an include file for linker.cmd script ?

That is doable. You can store the data in memory which is accessible (MPU settings does not restrict the region) by both SBL and Application. In SBL you can keep the data in a structure and fix it at the location. The same structure needs to be part of application and should not be initialized (more details below).

Maybe this section of compiler guide will help you understand if this the variable is suppose to be initialized or not ?

Thanks a lot for your very quick reply.

I would suggest to include this feature in the next SDK and maybe in Sysconfig so that an application developer could include bootloader status.
