TM4C1290NCZAD: Identification of authentic DS1307 RTC

We have interfaced DS1307 RTC module with TMS129x controller.

But due to improper DS1307 RTC IC hardware part, the RTC module is not working in some of the setup or boards. There is no issue with firmware code.

Please help me out on the body marking detail to authenticate the DS1307 RTC IC to isolate the possibility of improper IC.

    I'm not clear with your question. First of all, what is the body marking detail you are looking for?  If you suspect that you have a bad DS1305 RTC IC, then you need to consult with the vendor which is Analog Devices. I can't help you with this third party component. If this is not your question, then please clarify what you mean to authenticate the DS1307 RTC. We have no capability to authenticate a non-TI component.

    My question is on how to identify, whether the DS1307 IC placed on the PCB is the correct or incorrect IC by manually seeing the PCB.

    Hi,

      Again, shouldn't you be consulting Analog Devices for this question if their DS1307 is correctly placed on the PCB?
