AM2732: After the firmware has been successfully flashed, the serial port does not print after a reboot

Hi team,

The AM2732 board was flashed with firmware. Regarding the firmware, the single core firmware of the hello_world_am273x-evm_r5fss0-0_freertos_ti-arm-clang and multicore firmware for the multi-core project ipc_notify_echo_am273x-evm_system_freertos_nortos have been tried. The firmware are hello_world_am273x-evm_r5fss0-0_freertos_ti-arm-clang.appimage and ipc_notify_echo_system.appimage, respectively. The firmware was burned successfully using the python script, but no print was printed on the serial port after the reboot.

Follow the default_sbl_null.cfg configuration and it still have no print:

Hi Cherry Zhou,

Did you change the boot mode to QSPI boot mode ?

Connect the Terminal, Open the Same and Assert a Reset. You will see the prints.

Thank you for the support.

QSPI Mode corresponds to 001. Now the jumper cap is shorted to RUN, but there are still no prints.

Attachment is customer's firmware,

Could you help to burn this firmware on AM2732EVM or TIDA-020047，confirm if you have the same problem.

Hi Cherry,

One additional question I have:

Is this custom board based on AM273x (following design from TIDA-020047)?

And flashing never worked , i.e. application didn't ever boot after flashing?

Hey Cherry,

Is this a custom board or one provided by TI?

In the latter case, which revision of the TIDA-020047 board is the customer using? E1 or E2?

Can you send a picture of the EVM with its R50 and R49 resistor placements? Can you also send pictures of J6 and J9 connectors?
