AM2732-Q1: How to disable OSC_CLK_OUT_AUDIO output

Hi expert,

Customer is using AM2732 in radar application but they found there is 20Mhz output on OSC_CLK_OUT_AUDIO pin. They want to disable this output as it will affect the radar signal but we don't see any register in TRM could disable it.

Could you tell us how to disable this OSC_CLK_OUT_AUDIO output on AM2732?

Allen,

From Figure 5-1670. Clock Tree Configuration (TRM spruiu0c.pdf), this is analog signal and the direct out (/2) from the crystal.

I will check internally though if there there is way and update here.

Allen,

Looks like 0x0214 0C00 (ANA_REG_CLK_CTRL_REG1_XO_SLICER) register has some field. Need to confirm with design and on TI EVM. Will update by 07/21.

By default the OSC_CLK_OUT_AUDIO and can be enabled or disabled by programming the ANA_REG_CLK_CTRL_REG1_XO_SLICER register fields:

OSC_CLKOUT_EN

OSC_CLKOUT_DRV

OSC_CLKOUT_FREQ_S EL

OSC_CLKOUT_CLRZ_DIV
