Hi there,
I've read through the TMS570 TRM, Safety Manual, and Datasheet, but I wanted to confirm some facts about the Flash. Please correct me if I'm wrong:
- There are 3 Flash banks: 0, 1 & 7.
- Banks 0 & 1 are considered TCM connected to the CPU.
- Bank 7 is external and is used for Flash EEPROM emulation.
- All 3 banks contain two extra sectors, a customer OTP and a TI OTP.
- Only TCM banks 0 & 1 are accessed on Bus 1.
- Bank 7, and all OTP memory are accessed on Bus 2, despite some of the OTP physically being located in banks 0 and 1.
- Syndrome calculation is only applicable to Bus 2 (OTP & FEE) as Diag Mode 2/3/4 test the syndrome and only work on Bus 2
Namely on the Syndrome calculation, I'm not sure if it is done on Bus 1 as well (TCM Flash). Can someone please clarify this for me? Thank you!
