Hello,
I have a customer looking for some general guidelines on the pull up/ down resistor strength. I know we quote a typical value, but can we give any more clarity on what a typical variance would be? Is it like 10%? 50?

Hi Munan
on hardware development, MSPM0 L-Series MCUs Hardware Development Guide (Rev. A) is the reference document.
besides some high accuracy resistor for example 100-kΩ ±0.1% 25-ppm on ROSC, I think the normal resistor should be OK for pull up/ down resistor. There is no special requirement.
Thanks
Hi Xiaodong,
I don't mean external resistors. In our data sheet we spec in section 7.10.1 a typical pull up and pull down resistance. Customer is asking what an expected or typical variance around that 40 kOhm is considered normal.

Hi Munan
Thanks for your detailed question! There is only the typical value of the pull up and pull down resistance,
The variance should be arround the typical value which is 40kOhm. But we can't garantee the variance.
Thanks!
