helllo:
Features not supported by pice are listed in the sdk.Can you explain it to me in detail?
Hi
PCIe can operate in EP, RC and bridge mode. Out of which only EP and RC is supported at hardware level.
Bus enumeration not supported means access via a bridge device is not supported now
thanks,
What we want to develop is Linux PC --> Am2432(EP).
PCIE communication requires PC to enumerate all of AM2432 devices(EP). Does TI plan to add enumeration function? If so, for how long? My self-designed AM2432 devices board has been designed.
dear Anoop,
Any update? My company is waiting for this info to decide the following technology roadmap. We don't have too much time.thanks
Hi,
Thanks for your patience on this one.
TI is reviewing this request to enable Linux PC --> AM243 (EP) with MCUPLUS SDK.
The exact timeline and scope is still under discussion and we will have more clarity by early next week. Will keep you posted.
Regards
Piyali
Thanks Piyali,
In fact, we evaluate this IC, and think it is not only used in Linux systems, but also a typical requirement for industry protocol bus motion control cards based on it in Windows. The current lack of this feature greatly limits the application and promotion of the MCU. thank you for understanding.
Hi,
We are working on detailed plans however, tentatively we will be supporting PCIe for Windows + Linux by end of Q1 2024.
Thanks,
Kaushal
