We are Trying to Flash the Code Using XDS200 DEBUG PROBE TMDSEMU200-U and the link is Here, and While Programming We are Getting the Error Like

Error connecting to the target:

(error-1170@0x0)

Unable to acces the DAP, Reset the device, and retry the operation, If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable Jtag setttings(e.g. lower TCLK)

(EMULATION PACKAGE 9.12.0.00150) and the Screen Shot is Attached..

iS Anyone Adress and help to Resolve the Error..?

By Pressing and Holding nRST also Same Error Occurred, inspite of Changed the Controller and the Problem Remains Same....

We are Using this Debug probe to many cards... Now also Flashed same code to other Card Using This Probe Only.. there is no issue in Debug Probe.. in this only we Having this issue

Hi Karthik,

In that case it should be related to the hardware circuit related to the JTAG, so please carefully verify all the associated connections and resistor values of the debug circuit.

By the way which card you are using, is it a custom board or any TI specific board?

It's a Custom Board and i Checked with JTAG Circuit and all Resistors all are ok. ans I Attached the JTAG Ckt Schematic

The error (Error -1170 @ 0x0) is caused by the inability of the JTAG debugger to access the DAP or one of its ARM subcores. This is usually caused by either a hardware failure on the board or invalid code on the CPU core that causes it to reset itself continuously.

Have you tried a lower JTAG speed (TCLK)?

I Checked with all But Issue Continues Same and again Checked with Circuit also, i Any one Help solve the issue

Hi Karthik,

Is JTAG_SELn used on your board? If it is not used, the R347 can be removed.

Is there an external pull-down resistor on 2MC_TRST? If not, can you add one, then try again?
