LP-MSPM0L1306: CCS Theia gives "The project does not have target configuration file" on debug

Part Number: LP-MSPM0L1306

I am getting this error when I launch a debug session.  However, I do have a target configuration file.  It appears that CCS Theia cannot find it. My launch.json file contains the proper path to the target configuration file.

In addition, when I go to the debug page and click on the debug launch icon, the IDE asks me to upgrade the probe firmware.  When I click Update I get a message saying that the silicon is preliminary and the upgrade is not supported.  I can't seem to make this message stop appearing every time I try to debug.

Any suggestions?

  • Hi Albert,

I suggest ordering a new launchpad as you do have an old version of the device. The new launchpad will have silk screen labeling of LP-MSPM0L1306 Rev A. (Old launchpad will say Rev 1.0 instead).

CCS Theia detects that the preliminary silicon is in place and this can cause conflicts with the released version of Theia. If you want to continue with the preliminary silicon then you will need to use SDK 0.58 and Theia version 0.9, these are only available through the secure software.

Again I do recommend ordering a new launchpad so you can use the resources that are on TI.com and get the benefits of the silicon improvements.

    Regards,

    Luke
