AM2434: Linux on AM243x

Given that this processor can handle upto 2GB of RAM, is there a port of Linux available for this? All I could find is FreeRTOS for operating system choice.

Hi Durga,

AM243x only has R5F and M4 cores. There is no plan to support Linux on R5F or M4 cores, because AM243x is designed for real time control. MCU+ SDK will only support NORTOS or RTOS including but not limited to FreeRTOS.

If you need the Linux support, please check the AM64x
