MSPM0G1507: Clarify some pin usages

Part Number: MSPM0G1507

Dear Champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

Questions:

  1. If I do not require RTC ,  Can I use the pins LFXin and  LFXOut   as a general GPIOs
  2. If I do not require the ADC feature, Can I use pin VREF + and VREF – I can use as GPIOs
  3. If I want to use ADC but with internal reference, can I still use pin VREF + and VREF as GPIOs?

  • Hi,

    1. Yes. You can use the pins LFXin and  LFXOut not only as a general GPIO but also other functions describes in the datasheet for PA3 and PA4 functions.

    2. Yes. The same as answer 1. Please check the PA21 and PA23 pin functions.

    3.  When using the internal reference, the VSS/VREF- pin must connect to GND. When supplying the MCU with an external reference, it is recommended to connect a decoupling capacitor on the reference pins with a value based on the voltage source.

    Best regards,
