I need a microprocessor with Ethernet functionality that I can use to communicate (Ethernet) across a fiber optic link instead of coupling through the CAT5 (transformer) hard-wired method.
I prefer using a microprocessor that has the Ethernet PHY internal so my parts count is lower.
