Hello All,

Are the FSI RX triggers available to trigger other modules (EPWM, ECAP.. etc.) than FSI_TX at the Hardware level?

Or this routing functionality is only available with CLB?

Thank you very much.

Have a great Day.

Zoltan

  • Hello Zoltan,

There is no routing functionality to use the RX Triggers from the FSI to trigger other modules.

I was looking to see what you meant by the CLB and I don't see any connection between the RX Trig lines and CLB or other external signals. The lower half of the diagram shown is illustrating external trigger options, but the RX Triggers only go to the mux selecting the TX Trigger. So there is not a hardware pass through for that RX Trigger to anything else.

    Best Regards,

  • Hello Ralph,

    Thank you for the answer.

The CLB is the control logic block that can be found in some TI's microcontrollers and used to route the FSI Trigger signals to other modules. e.g.: ePWM

In the meantime, I found that the FSI RX triggers can be connected to the ePWM module via the SYNC network in AM263x controllers, but not to others.

The User manual could be more informative at the diagram level.

    Have a great day.

    Zoltan
