TMS570LS1224: LED Blinking Using .het Driver

The linker error reports it has seen duplicate main symbols, one in ./main.obj and the other in ./source/sys_<truncated in screen shot>

I guess that when the CCS project was created, an template main.c was created in the top-level directory of the CCS project, as well as the source/sys_main.c created by HALCoGen.

In which case you should be able to delete the top-level main.c to resolve the linker error.
