The Subsystem Memory Map Of AM2732

Question 1:

In the documentation of  spruiu0c(AM273x Technical Reference Manual),  Chapter 2.1  introduces the "Main Subsystem Cortex R5F Memory Map", but in the following table ,there is many modules related to the DSS and RCSS,like this:

this is the Main Subsystem modules,

this is the RCSS modules and DSS modules:

Question 2:

the  “DSP Subsystem C66x Memory Map” is same with the  "Radar Control Subsystem Memory Map"。why is that??

I don't really understand.Please help.

  • Hello cl xu,

The reason these are listed as they are is that they are show casing all memory mapped locations accessible for a given core.

I do agree the DSP and Radar tables feel redundant given the overlap, but with the intent being that you can see what is accessible for each core, saying the same table applies for both could lead to confusion. I can raise this as a point to discuss on which direction makes the most sense.
