I understand that the time synchronization function synchronizes the time between the controller (master) and the device.
Is this time correct for the cycle start timing?

Hi Hiroyasu-Shimizu-san,
The device synchronized the time to the controller in every io_ex cycle. The device basically takes a timestamp of the incoming controller packet, and adjusts it timing to the arrival time. During line_delay and synchronization state, the time delay between the controller and each device is measured. So each device knows the delay between him and the controller. This time is then used with the timestamp.
