hangs on:

this when any timer is set.

This is default handler, MCU code run encounter some issue.

Have you missed some interrupt route function in your code?

I am submitting an example. If you delete all timer settings, the application will enter and exit EEPROM_TypeA_init. Otherwise it will hang in EEPROM_TypeA_init...

The application also works if you just leave the PWM in operation, without interruption.

Could you try to modify the EEPROM_EMULATION_ADDRESS in eeprom_emulation_type_a.h with a bigger address?

I changed the values ​​of EEPROM_EMULATION_ADDRESS to higher, still it keeps going to Default_Handler(void)
