Part Number: TM4C1294NCPDT

Not able to read any Register in debug mode. Following error is poping up. In forum I found out that need to connect powered USB hub with board. But still error persists.

CORTEX_M4_0: Trouble Reading Memory Block at 0x40038000 on Page 0 of Length 0x4: Debug Port error occurred.

  • Hi,

What debug probe do you use? Is this a Launchpad or your custom board?  Can you try on a Launchpad? Can you repeat the same problem? If this is your custom board, do you have another one? Can you repeat the same problem?

Also a heads up, I'm currently on vacation for the rest of the week. My response will be extremely delayed.

  • Hi,
I am using USB mini cable , with TM4C1294ncpdt launchpad. Have the same problem.

  • Hi,

Do you see the power LED on the Launchpad board? There are two USB ports on the board, wanted to make sure you connect to the Debug USB port, not the USB device port.

Which target configuration did you use when you connect to the board? You ought to select the ICDI debug probe. Perhaps   you can show a screenshot of your target configuration.

How many Launchpad do you have? Can you repeat the same issue on another board?

One more thing is to try another USB cable and another PC. Do you still see the same problem?
