SBC with SIC capability.

Is there SBC available with TI that has SIC capability. Also what is the ASIL level compliance and safety kit availability for it.

  • Hi

SBC is an NXP terminology. At TI we refer to these products as PMICs. (Power Management ICs).

Also, I am not sure what you mean by SBC with SIC capability? I assume you mean "SIL" or "ASIL" capability since your follow-up refers to ASIL level compliance and safety kit availability for it.

    Here is an answer:

Please refer to this URL for TI's PMICs:

    https://www.ti.com/power-management/multi-channel-ics-pmic/overview.html

Scroll further below on this page to see above picture (selection guide); I have circled a couple of possible options for you assuming you are interested in paring the PMIC with either an AM26x or TMS570 MCU.

Once you select your functional safety PMIC - from URL below you will have to contact the PMIC product group for FMEDA, Safety Manual etc.

    This should answer your question.
