AM2431: :Schematic review request

Part Number: AM2431

Hi team,

I am designing the schematic for AM2431 for the first time. Can you please share your Email ID so that I can send the specific part for review?

Regards,

  • Hello Sameep,

For AM243x, we provide a Schematic Checklist App Note that you can use for reviewing and verifying your schematic.  This document can be found on the AM243x product page, in the Technical Documentation section.

If you want a TI engineer to additionally review your schematic, please reach out to your local TI Sales / Field Apps Engineer for assistance requesting the review.

    Best Regards,

    Ralph Jacobi

  • Hi Ralph Jacobi

When we ask local team, they are suggesting posting in e2e forum,

You're asking to contact local sales.

Can you please suggest what we can do.

  • Hello Sameep,

The suggestion to post on E2E makes me initially think you are reaching out to the Customer Support Center, is that the case?

    Best Regards,

    Ralph Jacobi

  • Hi Jacobi,

If they are responsible to do the verification/review, then YES.

I'm not sure exactly how to approach. Local TI engineers requested to post on the E2E forum when we contacted them. We wanted to get the schematic thoroughly reviewed from your side once because we intend to employ AM2431 in place of the FPGAs we previously used across several designs. Please advise me on the next steps.

    Regards,

    Sameep

  • Hello Sameep,

Sorry but the Customer Support Center is not the same as local TI sales engineers and the request they made to post on E2E is consistent with what support they can provide for this sort of topic. A local TI sales contact would be an engineer you have a TI email address to have direct correspondence with.

The schematic review checklist we provide is a very comprehensive document that walks through the same steps that TI engineers would take to review a provided schematic: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spracu5

With that said, at this time, we do not provide any additional schematic review services through the E2E forums. Much as we'd like to help more, we are not in a position where we can review every single customer schematic that come through the E2E forums following the details we provide in our review checklist document because of the complexity at hand. That is why any TI engineer-driven reviews would need to be initiated outside of E2E and the Customer Support Center is not able to help with that.

    Best Regards,

    Ralph Jacobi
