AM2634: Difference between the part numbers

Hello.

We are developing our own board using the AM2634 Sitara. I have been following the reference design for the LP-AM263x, that design calls out XAM2634AOLFGMZCZQ (which I don't believe is a production part number). When searching for the AM2634, since we need quad core, there are several different part numbers to choose from. What is the difference and which one should I call out that will be the same as the the on the dev kit.

Hi Michael,

For the differences between the different part numbers, you can always reference the Device Nomenclature Section (Section 10.1) of the AM263x Datasheet.

For the LP-AM263, you are correct, the XAM2634AOLFGMZCZQ part listed in the BOM is a pre-production part number. The production part number that will be used on future builds of the LP-AM263 will be the AM2634COMFHAZCZR, which is the superset part from the AM263x family.
