My customer would like us to propose to replace RX630.
1.Pin・・・100pin
2.Flash/RAM・・・ROM 384KB, RAM 32KB
However, customer did not disclose the product number and etc for us.
Therefore, I used cross reference tools to find the replacement and it showed RM48L740.
Should I proceed to promote it or do you have other suggestions?

Hi Kenley,
The RX630 looks like very small end device with very less flash and RAM.
So, there are other small devices also available in Hercules series controllers like RM42, RM44 and RM46 series of controllers.
As you can see in above pic the RM42 is exactly the same flash and ROM as RX630 with 384KB flash and 32KB RAM, but the only problem with this device is we have less inventory available in TI.com i.e.76. But the advantage is cost, it is very less cost.
And customer can even use RM44Lx or RM46Lx, these devices also less cost compared with RM48L740 and these devices also meets the flash and RAM requirement of RX630.
Please provide these details to customer and ask them to choose based on their requirements. Once choose the device, i will also suggest the customer to go to the datasheet of the device and verify the device comparison table there. Because here they will list all the available peripherals and their count, so customer can verify whether all the required peripherals available or not.
