TMDSEMU110-U: Invalid response was received from the XDS110

I am debugging custom built tms570lc4357 board, today I upgraded XDS110 probe, it continuously returned "IcePick: Error: (Error -261 @ 0xFFFFFEFB) Invalid response was received from the XDS110. (Emulation package 9.12.0.00150) "

I don't know whether it is related to my board issue or jtag probe issue.

I downgraded the firmware back to 3.0.0.25 from 3.0.0.26 , ( and downgrade CCS12.4.0 (which requires firmware 3.0.0.26) back to CCS 12.3.0), now the jtag works better.

I'm running CCS under Debian Linux 11

I'm wrong, I am still getting this error messages, even I use XDS110 with TMS570LC LaunchPad.

I just started debugging, and didn't touch anything (power, reset, etc)

Hi Hongbo,

Try below things:

1. Verify your JTAG circuitry

2. Make sure the ribbon cable

3. Try the lower TCK for example 1,0MHz? The default settings for XDS110 TCK is 2.5MHz.
