RM57L843: Does the MCU has any internal firmware?

To whom it may concern,

Does the RM57L843 MCU has any resident firmware inside that is not programmed by customer? Note this is not the bootloader or application image. If it does, these firmware need to be monitored for certification purpose.

Hi Helen,

Hercules devices doesn't have ROM bootloader. These devices only support boot from flash.

So, after Power ON Reset the code in the flash will get executed from address 0x0.

The JTAG emulator is required to load the program to the MCU flash.
