I built the demo below and checked its operation.

"ethernetip_adapter_generic_device_mii_demo_am243x-lp_r5fss0-0_freertos_ti-arm-clang"

We checked with version 09.00.00.03 of INDUSTRIAL-COMMUNICATIONS-SDK-AM243X.

Bootp packets may not be sent after reset service in Bootp mode.

During the CT19.1 protocol test, after the reset service, it is not possible to obtain an IP address using Bootp packets, and the test cannot proceed further.

What is the trigger for Bootp to be sent?

Also, is there a way to resend Bootp packets?

this has been addressed this week and the bootp code has been changed to retransmit the request if the initial bootp request is not honored. The fix will be made available with the next release.
