AM2634: uart_uniflash_gui.py python script fails at --file command

Part Number: AM2634
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hi,

I am trying to download .tiimage and .appimage into QSPI flash memory to my own designed AM2634 board based on AM263x CC board.

First I put the Bootmode in UART boot mode and power-up the board. I can see the character 'C' in serial terminal at CCS. then I close the serial terminal and start the uart_uniflash_gui.py.

After selecting proper COMx and selecting default_sbl_qspi.cfg file with the following commands.

Only the first command which is flash-write is completed successfully, but the next command which is "--file" does not start.

The only difference between my schematic and AM263x CC board is that BootMode pins from dip-switch are connected directly via series resistors to AM2634 pins instead of buffer used in AM263x-CC board.

And also the voltage level at QSPI_D3 and QSPI_D2 are 1.5V (the pull ups are not mounted) but in AM263xCC board are 3.3V.

Would you please guide me why the --file command does not start? Is there something wrong with QSPI Flash connection to AM2634?

BR

Saman
