MCU with parallel interface

     Is there any MCU available with parallel interface?

    Hello Jananni,

    What sort of device are you trying to interface with? We have a device with a Universal Parallel Port (uPP) and devices with External Memory Interfaces (EMIF), can you clarify what your end application is for this?

    Hi Omer Amir,

      I want a MCU with serial interface like SPI/I2C to interface with RTC and a parallel interface to interface to a bus of width 4 bits. This MCU is integrated in a PCB of Dimension 16 x 10 mm. So, the MCU we are choosing should be less than this dimension also if RTC is integrated in the MCU it will be better, even it is not integrated it is also fine.

    Nearly all devices have this, you can look at the C2000 Peripherals Guide for more details.

    What is the intention of this? Are you trying to interface with external memory such as by using EMIF, or something like uPP instead?

    Once you narrow down to a few devices based on peripherals, you can refer to the device datasheet "Mechanical, Packaging, and Orderable Information" section for size details.
